Eric fills his time with creating new products and ideas and keeping the “wheels on the bus”. He is the go to fixer and problem solver and tries to keep the farm and food running smoothly. If something breaks or needs to be figured out he gets called. When not working, Eric tries to get out fishing or visiting with family and friends.
Lisa is all things like ALL Moms do. She is the lead cook, bookkeeper, sales, and the thread that holds everything together. Lisa keeps everyone on task and lets them know where they need to be on time. If you call the farm with a question, Lisa is probably the one you will talk to or get passed off too. Somehow she balances all that and still finds time for a long walk with the dogs a bike ride or a good book.
Andy (kid number 1) is the oldest of the 6 Klein kids. He has always had a passion for working with customers since the age of 2-weeks-old at his very first farmers market. Andy is the guy that makes sure your orders are filled and chefs' have the food they need for the week.
Ben is kid number 2 and heads up the farm. Ben takes care of the animals everyday and watches over our certified organic crops in the summer. Ben is an easy going person that makes a good fit for caring for animals and tending crops. Ben also has a keen eye and passion for landscaping. He loves to create patios and fire pits. This is a bonus for mom and dad. He likes hanging out with his friends and waterskiing when possible.
Kid number 3 and daughter number 1. Katy is the namesake of Katy’s eggs. Katy and Andy started the egg company as a source for some extra income, and the business has flourished. Katy is our level headed "go to" for getting a project done and heading up all the internet work. She also helps in the office when she isn’t outside. Katy loves spending time with her horse as much as possible and hopes to add more and start training horses in the future.
Sarah is kid 4 and daughter 2. Sarah, while still in high school, is involved in helping put orders together. If she isn’t at play practice or other events, she is in the warehouse afterschool assembling your order to be shipped out. In the summer time, Sarah enjoys the daily responsibility of moving the broiler chickens to fresh pasture every day. Sarah also loves horses and spends time with her horse as well.
Isaac is kid 5 and son 3. He is still in school but loves to farm, get involved, and learn new skills. He is our power when we need another guy. He is always there and ready to lend a hand. Isaac loves driving tractors whenever possible and filling in the gaps. He is willing to lend a hand with animals or help load the van for the weeks deliveries. In his spare time he likes to learn about how things work and try to fix them.
April is the youngest of the 6 Klein kids. In the summer you can find April helping with all the chicken chores and driving the ranger to the next spot. If there is a need to drive the ranger to a location on the farm, she is there. Like all the girls, April has a soft spot for horses and will also be taking care of their horse waiting for a turn to ride. She loves occupying her time with crafts and building things.
