This Flour is ground from certified organic wheat fields using a stone mill. It is Whole Wheat Flour that is sifted for a more course texture and includes the germ. This flour is Milled Hard Red Wheat which has good bread baking qualities - a 14.2% protein.
Nothing has been added so you get the full flavor of the Iowa grown organic wheat.
This Whole Wheat Flour is great for baking bread or other favorite dishes. Sold in a 4 pound resealable bags. This is a whole grain flour. It contains all parts of the wheat (germ, endosperm, bran). It is sifted for consistency.
It is best to store this flour in a cool, dry place to ensure quality until the best buy date. If you store it in a refrigerator or freezer, it may extend (not guaranteed) its quality past the best buy date.
