Slow Cooked Pork Wings

Ingredients
- (12 shanks) Pork Wings
- Salt & Pepper
- (3 cloves) Finely Minced Garlic
- (14 oz or 1 3/4 C) Chicken Broth
- (1 cup) Barbecue Sauce
Directions
Preheat oven to 450F
Lay pork shanks out flat and rubs both sides generously with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Put a rack inside a shallow roasting pan to keep the shanks off the bottom of the pan. Lay shanks across the rack and fill the pan with chicken broth under the ribs making sure the ribs are not touching the broth.
Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes in the oven. Turn the temperature down to 300F and allow ribs to cook slowly for at least 4-6 hours until the meat begins to fall off the bone.
Remove from oven and carefully remove the foil to let out the steam
If preferred, remove the bone and brush the ribs generously with barbecue sauce.
Return to the oven to bake for 10 minutes.
Carefully use tongs to lift ribs in one piece and place on a platter.
